BMD Modern Hoods are commercial grade performance for residential applications. For optimal performance, the bottom of the hood should be no lower than 30” and no higher than 32” above the cooking surface.
For ventilation over a professional grade range or cook-top, the width of the hood should be 6” wider than the range or cook-top it is ventilating on each side.
Wiring and mounting diagrams are included with each model. - Mounting brackets for island hoods are included along with installation details for proper blocking and support preparations.
